Baseball: Jefferson opens season with loss at Oconee Co.

WATKINSVILLE -- The Jefferson baseball team opened the season with a 3-1 loss at Oconee County on Monday in Watkinsville.

Max Ford went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI to lead the Dragons (0-1), while Taylor Wilkes also had two hits.

Wilkes suffered the loss on the mound.
