Ribbit! KFCB holding amphibian monitoring workshop

CUMMING - Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) and the Georgia Adopt-A-Stream program are hosting an evening class to listen for frog calls and find other amphibians while learning how to protect local lakes, streams and wetlands. <br />
<br />
The free workshop will be held Friday, April 5 from 6:30-9:00. at the Fowler Park Recreation Center located at 4110 Carolene Way in Cumming.<br />
<br />
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful Community Outreach Specialist Kevin Smith said participants should bring a flashlight and be sure to wear sturdy shoes.<br />
<br />
"We encourage anyone interested in a fun and informative evening to register," he said. "Those participating will hopefully have an enjoyable time while gaining a greater appreciation for our local ecosystem."<br />
