DULUTH - The Cincinnati Cyclones (28-16-4-2) used three unanswered third period goals to overcome a 2-0 deficit to knock off the Gwinnett Gladiators (31-19-2-1) 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. The win snapped a four game winning-streak for Gwinnett.

Cincinnati used three goals within four minutes of each other midway through the third to notch the win. Dan Eves beat Gwinnett netmidner Louis Domingue at 9:31 of the third period to being the barrage.

Josh McFadden equalized the game at 2-2 with his 2nd goal of the season at 12:25 of the third period and then Trevor Lewis potted the go-ahead goal at 13:36 of the third period with assists to Anthony Luciani and McFadden.

Jon Awe opened the scoring for Gwinnett as he got the Gladiators on the board with the first goal of the game 10:59 into the first period. The power play marker came as Awe ripped a snapper for the puck to find an empty slot in the net. Ryan Donald picked up an assist on the goal.

The Gladiators widened their margin to two with a tally from Doug Jones 13:06 into the second. The tally came as Gwinnett skated through the neutral zone four on two and Jones tucked the puck up under the crossbar for the goal. Captain Andy Brandt and Casey Pierro-Zabotel each earned an assist on the marker.

Gwinnett returns to the Arena at Gwinnett Center next weekend on February 15th as they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. for the first game of Pink in the Rink.
