GAINESVILLE - Gainesville police have released two photos of a woman believed responsible for identity theft, and they're hoping the public can help investigators find her.

Authorities say the woman, who appears to be in her early 60s, went to a Gainesville bank in mid-December and used another person's identity to withdraw cash.

Police said the suspect also used the victim's credit card at a local store.

Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to contact the Gainesville Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 770-534-5254, or you may contact the department's Tip Line at 770-533-5873.
