MACON, Ga. (AP) Two men are recovering after being rescued from their boat in the Ocmulgee River in central Georgia.

Firefighters said the men were stranded on a 14-foot jon boat and drifted for about four hours Sunday on the river in Bibb County. Rescuers were able to reach them around 9:30 Sunday night.

The Telegraph reports (http://bit.ly/1cgJiCb) that both men were said to be in good condition.

More than a half-dozen emergency responders stationed themselves at the public boat ramp at Spring Street Park during the rescue effort, which began around sunset.
