BERKELEY LAKE, Ga. (AP) -- A metro Atlanta homeowner says he hopes Christmas decorations that prompted a response from local emergency officials didn't offend anyone.

Bubba Murphy of Berkeley Lake told WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1boNJYg ) that homeowners in his Cobb County neighborhood go all out with their Christmas displays every year. Murphy's house features a mannequin with outstretched arms supported by a string of Christmas lights clinging to a ledge and a toppled ladder in the front yard.

Murphy says someone passing the house with their children thought the display looked so realistic they called 911.

Murphy says fire officials told him to temporarily take the display down.

Berkeley Lake is about 22 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
