HOMER - No one was hurt when a vehicle crashed through the wall of a Banks County business Tuesday afternoon.

Banks County Deputy Carissa McFaddin said the sheriff's office responded to Homer Drug Co. on Historic Homer Highway about 3:10 for a vehicle that had collided with the building.

"First responders on scene advised they believed the driver of the vehicle possibly passed out prior to the vehicle entering the building," McFaddin said.

The driver was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation of health-related issues, McFaddin said.

The passenger escaped injury, as did those inside the store.

No additional details are immediately available.
