Two Lawrenceville men face drug charges in Hall

BUFORD - Two Lawrenceville men face drug charges in Hall County, allegedly found with a pound of marijuana in south Hall County this week.

Gainesville/Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Scott Ware said the arrests came Thursday on Golden Parkway in the Buford area. Golden Parkway is off of Lanier Islands Parkway, just west of Interstate 985.

Agents seized marijuana and a small amount of cocaine, valued at a combined $2000 on the street.

Ut Van Nguyen, 27, and Hung Quoc Ho, 37, are each charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and felony possession of marijuana.

In addition, Ho is charged with possession of cocaine. Authorities also placed an immigration hold on him.

Both men were booked into the Hall County Jail.
