Grainger awards scholarships to NGTC students; Gainesville man is one recipient

CLARKESVILLE - This year, Grainger will award a Grainger Tools for Tomorrow scholarship to129 students at 70 community colleges in the U.S., with one-half of the scholarships targeted to U.S. Armed Forces veterans. Upon graduation, each student receives a customized Westward tool-kit from Grainger to jump start their career.<br /> <br /> Two of those scholarship recipients are students in North Georgia Technical College's Air Conditioning Technology program. Frank Johnson of Clayton and Tony Willis of Gainesville each were recently awarded a $2,000 Grainger Tools for Tomorrow scholarship by Grainger, one of North America's leading broad line suppliers of maintenance, repair and operating products.<br /> <br /> NGTC Vice President of Academic Affairs Kathie Ivester and Dean for Academic Affairs Dan Pressley were on hand to present the awards.<br /> <br />
