GAINESVILLE - Music, food, dancing and belles will combine to benefit the Gainesville community at Saturday's 62nd annual Charity Ball.
Sponsored by the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County, the Charity Ball is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Chattahoochee Country Club.
The event will feature music by Yacht Rock Schooner, heavy hors d'oeuvres and more. It is the Junior League's largest fundraiser; proceeds from the event support the Feeding Our Future program, through which the League provides more than 100 boxes of food each month to needy families in the community.
This year, seven local civic groups have sponsored belle candidates who are raising money on behalf of the Junior League.
