Girls basketball: Dawson County bounces back to defeat Pickens

The Dawson County girls basketball team bounced back from last week's region loss to defeat Pickens 63-59 on Tuesday in Jasper.

The Lady Tigers (5-1) hit 11 of 17 free throws in the second half to help turn around a 35-34 halftime deficit.

Dawson County's Sheyenne Seabolt and Karlie Bearden tied for high score with 14 points each, while Ashley Parker added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Jordan Moore also scored 10 points and hit 5 of 6 free throws in the fourth quarter.
