Boys basketball: Lakeview pounds Towns County, 66-40

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys basketball team pounded out a 66-40 win over Towns County on Friday in Gainesville.

The Lions (3-1) ran out to a 19-4 first quarter lead and never looked back.

JB Britte led Lakeview with 15 points, while Kirk Schneider added 11.

The Lions host Commerce at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
