Gainesville Council expresses reservations then approves 'guns-in-parks'. <br /> <br /> I would have cast a "Yea" vote and been proud of it. <br /> <br /> Do Council members expressing 'reservations' think that "Criminals" would be deterred if a posted sign said "No Guns". <br /> <br /> Why are people so afraid of allowing Honest Citizens their Right to Own and Carry firearms. In addition the Law doesn't Require anyone to carry a firearm if they choose not too. <br /> <br /> Personally, I've never abused my conceal carry permit.<br /> <br /> It just annoys me that some of the council members expressed more concern over honest citizens legally carrying Firearms MORE than Concern over Criminals having guns in parks. <br /> <br /> What you really think Criminals and gang members are in parks and aren't carrying firearms? <br /> <br /> Council Members should be more supportive of Honest Law abiding folks.<br /> <br /> http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=268477
