According to the Georgia State Patrol, the Chevrolet 1500 pickup was headed north on Candler Highway when it crossed the center line of the road.
Troopers said the truck went off the west shoulder and hit a tree.
Hall County emergency responders say the wreck happened around 11:15 a.m. near Candler Concrete.
The state patrol was notifying next of kin before releasing the victim's name.
