According to an announcement in the current United Way newsletter, "the great wealth of knowledge from these community leaders [advisory council members] will help to provide additional guidance, support and strength to United Way as we continue to fulfill the mission of improving lives in Hall County."

CINEMAS FOR A CAUSE
All 32 of Georgia Theater Company's locations participated in this year's Cinemas for a Cause annual fundraiser by selecting a local charity to receive 100 percent of the day's proceeds.
United Way of Hall County was again selected by Hollywood Stadium Cinemas in Gainesville and the local event was held Sunday, Sept. 17. It raised $10,749, according to United Way officials, surpassing last year's proceeds by more than $1,000.
