Gainesville has played its final game of the season at Bobby Gruhn Field, while Buford's Tom Riden Stadium will get to host one more contest.

The Wolves won a Saturday morning coin flip against Callaway for the right to host a Class AAA semifinal.

The Red Elephants, meanwhile, saw the wrong side of the coin and will have to travel to DeKalb County's Hallford Stadium to face Tucker on Friday in the Class AAAAA semifinals.

It will be Gainesville's first true road playoff contest since winning in the semifinals at Whitewater last season. The Red Elephants (12-1) have dominated at home this postseason, winning 42-28 over Mundy's Mill in the quarterfinals to reach their third straight semifinal.

Tucker (13-0) prevented a Class AAAAA championship rematch from a year ago when the Tigers blanked Ware County 29-0 in the quarterfinals. It will be the first meeting between the two storied programs.

Meanwhile, Buford will face Callaway for the second time in program history -- the Wolves won the previous meeting 52-14 in the second round of the 2010 Class AA playoffs.

Buford (13-0) stonewalled Carver, Columbus 36-6 in Friday's quarterfinal, allowing a paltry 48 yards to the Tigers to earn their seventh straight semifinal appearance.

Callaway (12-1), meanwhile, took out St. Pius 35-21 to also prevent a title game rematch in the semifinals (Buford defeated St. Pius 10-3 in last year's Class AAA championship).

Both contests are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The other Class AAA semifinal features Ringgold at Washington County, while Creekside will face Kell in the other Class AAAAA semifinal.
