Jones (6-foot-7, 341 pounds) was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted free agent from Alabama State following this year's NFL draft and began the season on the practice squad.
Coach Mike Smith says he will be looking to evaluate young players in the final five regular-season games. Jones' promotion from the practice squad could be an indication he could see playing time as soon as Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills in Toronto.
Robiskie signed with the Falcons on Oct. 10 when the team needed depth at receiver following injuries to Julio Jones and Roddy White. He appeared in only game and did not have a catch.
