Enota Elementary to hold kindergarten reception for prospective parents Dec. 5

The Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy, an elementary school within the Gainesville City School System, will hold a kindergarten reception at 11 a.m., Dec. 5 at the school's media center.<br /> <br /> Parents of prospective students are invited to come and tour the school, meet its kindergarten teachers and examine its child-centered, 21st century curriculum.<br /> <br /> Visitors will be able to watch teachers and students at work in their classrooms, as well as have their questions answered by Enota parents, teachers, and administration.<br /> <br /> Enota's program of choice is focused on the theory of Multiple Intelligences, based on the work of Harvard Professor, Dr. Howard Gardner. Multiple Intelligences theory does not ask, "How smart are you?" but rather, "How are you smart?"
