GAINESVILLE - Hall County Juvenile Court Judge Mary Carden, who is retiring Dec. 6, will be honored at a reception on Nov. 22 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hall County Courthouse.

Judge Carden became a part time associate judge of the Hall County Juvenile Court in 1997, and served in that capacity until 2004 when she was appointed as a full time Juvenile Court Judge for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit.

Prior to becoming judge, she served as an attorney with Georgia Legal Services, first in the Savannah area and then in the Gainesville area for ten years.
