LOGANVILLE -- Gainesville was not interested in any upsets this time around.

After Loganville shocked the Red Elephants in 2012, Gainesville left no doubt as to their dominance this time around, hammering the Red Devils 63-0 in front of a national television audience.

The No. 4 Red Elephants (8-1, 7-0 Region 8-AAAAA) raced out to a 42-0 halftime lead and rolled up 452 yards offense en route to the win -- setting up next week's regular season finale with Flowery Branch for the Region 8-AAAAA title.

That contest probably won't resemble Friday's -- a game in which Gainesville scored less than two minutes after kickoff when Brenquez Dukes recovered a fumbled punt in the Loganville end zone.

The Red Elephants added two more scores in the first quarter, Deshaun Watson finding Jay Gaudlock for a 16-yard touchdown pass before Watson ripped off a 56-yard touchdown run. The senior quarterback finished with 254 total yards and five touchdowns.

Michael Byrd also proved hard to handle for Loganville, as the Gainesville running back finished with 149 yards rushing and two scores.

Seven different Red Elephants receivers caught passes on the night, including Gaudlock's three receptions for 35 yards. Byrd also hauled in one reception for 43 yards. Meanwhile, Chastin Newman caught two passes for 54 yards and a touchdown, while Chris Williamson and Orrin Ragland also caught scoring strikes.

Gainesville's defense also made several plays, including an interception returned for a touchdown by Toddrick Stringer. Devan Stringer also picked off a pass in the second quarter.

The Red Elephants will play host to Flowery Branch next Friday at City Park.
