The latest incident involved a raccoon that came into contact with two dogs in the Goble Drive area in the northern part of the county.
Hall County Animal Control got word Friday that the Georgia Public Health Lab Virology Section test was positive for rabies.
As usual, animal services workers will post positive alert signs in the area. Officials urge you to keep your pets up-to-date on rabies vaccinations.
They also say you can report animals acting abnormally by calling Hall County Animal Services at 770-531-6830 or call Hall County Dispatch at 770-536-8812 during non-working hours.
