Early voting ends Friday across Georgia for the Nov. 5 elections.

If you do not vote by Friday, you'll have to wait until election day to cast your ballot.

In Hall County, early voting for the Gainesville election is taking place at the Hall County Elections Office in the county Government Center. In Flowery Branch and Clermont, ballots are being cast at each town's city hall. Those locations in Flowery Branch and Clermont will also be used Nov. 5. But in Gaineville on election day, voting will shift to three polling places:

Gainesville Civic Center, Wards 1 and 2
Fair Street Neighborhood Center, Ward 3
Georgia Mountains Center (Brenau Downtown Center) Wards 4 and 5

If you are new to Gainesville or unsure of your ward, call the Hall County Elections Office at 770-531-6945. Sample ballots are available on the City of Gainesville website at www.gainesville.org/2013-municipal-election.

Elsewhere in northeast Georgia and across the state, voting places vary for early voting and election day, so check with your local election officials to determine where ballots can be cast.
