ATLANTA (AP) -- An Atlanta high school had to forfeit its homecoming football game after some of its players were implicated in a fight.

WSB-TV ( http://bit.ly/1aePex0) ) reports that Booker T. Washington High School couldn't play its Friday night game against Carver High School because of the altercation.

Atlanta police say several members of the Washington football team fought with a group of baseball players and a coach on Thursday night after accusing them of taking something from a locker room.

Officials canceled the football game as a result, and the school system says the Booker T. Washington players face disciplinary action.

Booker T. Washington student Christopher Bryant says the whole school had to suffer because students didn't get to attend their homecoming game.
