Sugar Hill man faces charges in fatal wreck

CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities said a Sugar Hill man faces charges in connection with a fatal wreck on Georgia 400 on September 10.

Gonzalo Antonio Jimenez, 42, was driving a concrete truck involved in the afternoon collision with a Toyota Corolla on 400 at Bottoms Road.

Rose Marie Robertson, 82, of Gainesville, died at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta three days after being airlifted from the accident scene. Robertson was driving the car.

Jimenez is charged with vehicular homicide, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and speeding, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Doug Rainwater.

He was arrested Monday.
