Rabun wreck results in U.S. 441 detour

CLAYTON - A three-vehicle wreck with entrapment in Clayton resulted in U.S. Highway 441 being detoured for 90 minutes Monday night.

According to Rabun County Fire Chief/Emergency Management Agency Director Marty Dixon, the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. in front of the RaceTrac convenience store and resulted in a person being trapped in one vehicle.

"There was one person transported to Mountain Lakes Medical Center," Dixon said.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the wreck. Additional details are not immediately available.
