CUMMING - Forsyth County has released proposed voting precinct changes which would be effective next year.

The changes, if approved, will affect many Forsyth County voters and would be
implemented for the 2014 Election Cycle. Five Public Information Open House meetings for voters to review the proposed changes were held over a two-month period, as well as additional meetings requested by individuals.

County officials say the guide does not answer every possible question a voter may have about the proposed precinct changes. More information and maps can be found on the county website and at the elections office.

The proposed changes will be voted on at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Voter Registrations and Elections on Monday, November 4 at 9:00 at the Forsyth County Administration Building.

If you are interested in commenting on the proposed changes, contact the Forsyth County Voter Registrations and Elections office prior to that time.
