New lanes open on Ga. 53 in Dawson Co.

DAWSONVILLE - Georgia DOT announces crews finished paving and the new lanes are open for use on State Route 53 at Thompson Road/Etowah River Roads.

The $2.7 million project included construction of turning lanes on State Route 53 and changing the grade on all four roadways to improve sight distance.
