Medical Center golf tournament raises over $200,000

GAINESVILLE - The 22nd annual Medical Center Open raised $238,550 at the tournament this year, setting a new record for the tournament. The tournament has raised over $2.7 million since 1997.

The tournament was held today at the Chicopee Woods Golf Course. It had over 200 sponsors, with Bank of America Merill Lynch as the primary sponsor. 200 golfers played the tournament and 100 people volunteered.
