Girls basketball: Lady Red Elephants fall to Heritage

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville girls basketball team suffered a 50-43 loss to Heritage, Conyers, on Thursday in Gainesville.

Tania Rucker scored 17 points to pace the Lady Red Elephants, while Sally Callahan chipped in with 11 points. Angel Mickle also grabbed 11 rebounds.

Gainesville will play host to Flowery Branch on Friday.
