Gwinnett police looking for suspect in auto break-ins

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police think the same man is responsible for 21 vehicle break-ins over the past four months.

Investigators said the suspect usually targets vehicles parked at churches or parks. They said the man has used debit and credit cards he steals from the vehicles.

The suspect is described as a black male of average height and build and appears to be in his 30s or 40s. Police said he has been seen using an older model white pickup truck and a four door passenger car of unknown color.

Gwinnett detectives are asking anyone with information on the suspect to call police at 770-513-5300 or Crimes Stoppers at 404-557-TIPS(8477).
