Girls basketball: Lady Panthers take out Jefferson

JEFFERSON -- The Union County girls basketball team overcame Jefferson 53-42 on Tuesday night in Jefferson.
Lauren Zollinger paced the Lady Panthers, scoring 18 of her 24 points in the second half. Jeanelle Arnold paced Union County early, scoring 10 of her 12 in the first quarter.
Union County travels to face Rabun County on Friday.
