Boys basketball: Indians lose in OT to Madison County

DANIELSVILLE -- Lumpkin County's Johnathan Gilreath hit a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to send the Indians' game with Madison County into overtime but it wasn't enough as the Red Raiders eventually took a 72-67 win in Region 8-AAAA action.

The Indians trailed by 14 points at halftime before rallying to tie the game.

Gilreath and Jacob Haskel each scored 13 points to lead Lumpkin County. Evan Gaddis had 12 points and Daniel McCrary and Austin Holman added 10 points apiece.
