Health system names new VP of Revenue Cycle

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Health System has hired a new Vice President of Revenue Cycle for the Gainesville-based system.

Marti Strand comes from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she served as Chief Revenue Cycle Officer.

According to NGHS, Strand will be responsible for hospital and physician practice business offices, coding/health information management, centralized scheduling, charge master, revenue integrity, nurse auditors, denials and internal collections and other duties.

Strand replaces Sandra Johnson who took a position at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
