Contingency plans announced for GHS parade

GAINESVILLE - With stormy weather in the forecast, Gainesville school officials Tuesday morning announced contingency plans for the high school football team's championship parade which is scheduled Wednesday afternoon.

The parade is set to begin at 4:00 at the school.

School officials say a decision on the parade will be made at noon Wednesday. In the event of inclement weather, the public is invited to honor the team at a reception at in the Gainesville High School cafeteria and Red Shed area.
