Drexel beats cold-shooting Georgia State

PHILADELPHIA -- Damion Lee scored 20 points and Drexel held Georgia State without a basket for nearly 14 minutes in a 68-57 Colonial Athletic Association victory Saturday.<br /> <br /> Lee hit four 3-pointers, including two in the second half that helped the Dragons (8-11, 4-3) extend their lead to 12 points after the Panthers (10-12, 5-4) had gotten to within three, 43-40, with 9:47 remaining.<br /> <br /> Georgia State, which had won four straight, didn't score a basket for the final 8:35 of the first half and the opening 5:10 of the second.<br /> <br /> Frantz Massenat had 15 points and eight assists for Drexel, which defeated Georgia State 77-60 Jan. 2 in Atlanta.<br /> <br /> Georgia State's Manny Atkins had his first double-double, getting 15 points and 10 rebounds.<br /> <br /> The Panthers shot just 27.7 percent (13 of 47). They made 25 of their 29 free throws (86.2 percent) but Drexel was even better, making 21 of 22 (95.5 percent).
