Boys basketball: Spartans take out Fannin Co. in Blue Ridge

BLUE RIDGE -- The West Hall boys basketball team notched a 54-43 win over Fannin County on Tuesday in Blue Ridge.

Hunter Atkinson put up a game-high 20 points to help spark the Spartans (9-9, 5-4 Region 7-AAA). Tyswon Cantrell also scored 17, while DeAndre Peoples chipped in with eight points.

Jonathan Vechio led Fannin County with 14 points. Will Patterson added 11 points.

West Hall will look to keep rolling on Friday against Banks County in Oakwood.
