GAINESVILLE - Four people remained hospitalized, all in stable condition Tuesday, following a two-vehicle traffic accident in Forsyth County Sunday night.

According to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Investigator Ron Tomblin, the crash happened at Hanover Lane and Bethelview Road around 9:00 p.m.

Authorities said Jocelyn Afari, 50, of Cumming, was driving on Hanover and ran a stop sign. According to Tomblin, Afari was driving too fast to make a turn onto to Bethelview Road. She ended up on the southbound side of Bethelview and hit an oncoming SUV head on, according to Tomblin.

The driver of the SUV, Yvonne Schumacher, 69, of Roswell, and two of her passengers, Beatriz Ivette Villegas, 50, of Roswell and Lara Maria Cabeza, 52, of Marietta, were all listed in stable condition at area hospitals.

Afari was also listed in stable condition.

The wreck remained under investigation Tuesday.
