Rogers, who abruptly resigned in December, will be paid $150,000 in his position as executive producer.
The position is funded by state taxes and the salary was finalized as the governor released budget proposals Thursday.
Rogers, of Woodstock, had been in the state Senate since 2002 and rose to the position of majority leader before his departure. Rogers is scheduled to begin his new job Tuesday.
