COMMERCE - A family continues to search an area near Commerce looking for a missing black lab, also a service dog. The Wilson family is looking for Lucy, who jumped from Shane Wilson's truck near the Tanger outlets.

Wilson lost a leg in a motorcycle accident. He told Fox Five that Lucy is more than just a companion.

"I fall down a lot, obviously with this prosthetic, and she'll come right up and gives me something to grab a hold of and get up, and opens the door for me at the shop."

Ashley Wilson told Fox five she got the dog for her dad.

"The best thing I could think of was get him a dog, because it's a companion that can be with him all the time to share his sorrows and his joys as well," she said.

Some family members said they've spotted Lucy near a lake outside of Commerce.

The family has set up a Facebook page for help in finding Lucy. They've also offered a $500 reward for Lucy's return.
