Candler Hwy. back open following wreck between tractor trailers

GAINESVILLE - A traffic accident involving two tractor trailers shut down Candler Highway for over an hour in Hall County late Monday morning.

The wreck happened in the area of the Cottrell business in the 2100 block of the highway around 11:30 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) was called to investigate. The road re-opened around 12:40 p.m., according to GSP.
