HOMER -- Buford scored on the opening kickoff and it was all Wolves from there, as the visitors trounced Banks County 63-0 on Friday night in Homer.

Buford's Shawn Reynolds took the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown to spark a 28-point first quarter for the Wolves, who went on to take a 49-0 halftime lead.

Dontravious Wilson paced Buford on the night, rushing seven times for 118 yards and a touchdown. Ten different Wolves carried the ball on the night.

Meanwhile, Buford's defense held Banks County to minus-5 yards in the first half, though the Leopards eventually put up 125 for the contest.

Terrance Wilson scored twice for Buford, including a 24-yard run and a 13-yard fumble return, while Reynolds also added an 11-yard touchdown catch from Montgomery VanGorder. Grant Hall also caught a 13-yard scoring pass from Taylor Mitchell.

Buford rushed for 252 yards on the night, passing for 53.

The Wolves will play host to Fannin County next week, while Banks County will look to rebound against Dawson County in Homer.
