Volleyball: Lady Vikings snap losing streak

RABBITTOWN -- Class AAA No. 8 East Hall snapped a five-match losing streak with a 25-15, 25-14 win over East Jackson Thursday girls volleyball action.

The win for the Lady Vikings (19-12) came after they had dopped a three-set match to Winder-Barrow 16-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Brittney Campbell again had a big night for East Hall with 45 assists, 14 points on serve, 13 digs, and three kills. Kara Hix added 55 digs, 15 service points and three aces and Tarryn Long had 26 kills and 13 digs for the Lady Vikings.

TT Shelton had seven kills and 13 digs, and Emily Roberts had seven kills, four digs, and two blocks for East Hall.

East Hall next will travel to West Hall for a quad-match on Tuesday.
