Volleyball: Lakeview drops two in Monroe

MONROE -- The Lakeview girls volleyball team was swept in a tri-match on the road.

The Lady Lions fell to George Walton 25-14, 25-22 and Providence 25-21, 26-24. Bailey Towles led Lakeview with 16 assists, 10 aces, and eight digs. Katie White had seven kills and 16 digs and Katie Gay also had 7 kills with 14 digs.

Lakeview next will travel to Habersham Central on Thursday to play a tri-match with the Lady Raiders and Lumpkin County.
