Volleyball: Lakeview splits at Battle at the Branch

FLOWERY BRANCH -- Lakeview Acadewmy earned two wins at the Battle at the Branch in girls volleyball Saturday.

The Lady Lions fell to West Hall 25-22, 26-16, then whipped defeated Salem 25-13, 25-13, and Loganville 25-9, 23-25, 15-12 before losing to Oconee County 25-17, 25-16.

Katie White had a huge day to lead Lakeview. She finished with 19 kills and 29 digs.

Shelby Ross added 15 kills, six aces, nine digs, and nine blocks and Delaney Jarrett had 26 assists and 20 digs for the Lady Lions. Bailey Towles had 22 assists, 24 digs, and 11 aces while Samantha Versteeg had 32 kills for Lakeview.
