Longtime Gainesville businessman dies

GAINESVILLE - A longtime Gainesville businessman, who was also active in Boy Scouts and Hall County Parks & Leisure Services, died Wednesday at his home.

Keith Lester of Flowery Branch was 69.

A life long resident of Hall County, Lester was co-owner in Lester Body and Paint Shop. He was very active in the Boys Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, and while serving in the scouts he also achieved the God and Country Award. Lester was also very active with Hall County Parks and Leisure Services where he coached Little League football and baseball for a number of years.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
