CHATTANOOGA -- Class AAA No. 1 Buford played small-ball to perfection Friday at Score Invitational Tournament.

The Lady Wolves rallied from behind twice to win a pair of one-run games, beating Mustang High (Oklahoma) 2-1 in the first game and then knocking off Calhoun 3-2 in the nightcap.

Against Mustang, Bria Bush fanned a career-high 12 batters while Niki Cook lofted a sacrifice fly to left field with one out scoring Drew Puckett to end the game as the time expiration was in effect.

It was the ninth complete game for Bush (11-1) who scattered four hits. Mustang had taken the lead in the fourth but Buford answered with a run in the fifth and the game-winner in the seventh.

Against Calhoun, Buford trailed 2-0 after the second inning but scored twice in the third to tie the game. The Lady Wolves won the game in the fifth when Abbey Mitchell doubled to start the inning and then scored on a pinch-hit double by Tessa Daniels.

Emily Crocker (2-0) got the win in relief allowing two hits and walking none with one strike out in two innings of work.
