Stocking Scurry 5-K set for this weekend in Gainesville

The Fourth Annual 5-K Stocking Scurry & 1 Mile Fun Run, presented by the Gainesville Jaycees, will take place on Saturday in downtown Gainesville.<br /> <br /> The fun run will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 5-K beginning at 9 a.m. on Bradford St., near the square.<br /> <br /> Cost is $15 for the fun run and $25 for the 5-K.<br /> <br /> The run benefits the Jaycees' Empty Stocking Fund, which provides Christmas presents for less fortunate children in the Hall County area.
