Northcutt joins NGTC Faculty

CLARKESVILLE - Elwin Northcutt of Toccoa has been tapped by North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) to join as a full-time faculty member, focusing on the Engineering classes.

Northcutt has had a long and successful career in machine design, from co-oping at Coats & Clark of Toccoa during his college days to a 22-year stint with EIS, an International engineering material supplier.

"Mr. Northcutt's wealth of knowledge and background is leading our students in the Engineering Technology program to the next level," said NGTD Dean for Academic Affairs Kathie Ivester. "We feel fortunate to have him as a part of the NGTC family."

Northcutt holds both AS and BS degrees from Southern Poly Technic in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA from Georgia State University.
