GAINESVILLE - Investigators who are working on the murder case of 16-year-old Hannah Truelove of Gainesville are asking for some help from the public.

Hall County Sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said investigators with the sheriff's department and with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are looking for a late 1990's to early 2000's four-door passenger car that may have been in the area of Lake Lanier Club Apartments the evening of August 23.

Truelove was last seen the that day; her body was found the following night on the apartment property near the shoreline of Lake Lanier.

Wilbanks said the car is light silver in color, with substantial front end damage and a driver's door that is either white or a lighter shade of silver.
He said the vehicle might be either a Chevrolet or a Dodge product.

Wilbanks said investigators believe the occupants of the vehicle may have important information that will aid the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or with further information about the case is asked to call the Hall County CID tip line at 770-503-3232, or the GBI tip line at 800-597-8477.
