DAHLONEGA - Doug Keith of Siemens Industry, Inc., will speak at North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) on Sept. 20 to highlight a critical component of successful business strategy-being prepared for what lies ahead.

As president of the Drive Technologies Division, Keith is responsible for the division's overall design, development, marketing, and manufacturing. Drive Technologies is the world's leading supplier of electrical and mechanical products, applications, and solutions that cover the entire drive train, and is the global leader in energy-efficient motors and drives, as well as products and services for production machinery and machine tools.

He will discuss the importance of preparing and executing for the future by sharing how those preparations apply to him personally, professionally, and corporately.

"Executing on the right priorities for the future can make the difference between capitalizing on an opportunity or witnessing a competitor seize that opportunity," Keith said.

All presentations in the series are open to the public and free of charge. Each session is held in the second floor auditorium (room 232) of the university's Health and Natural Sciences Building at 159 Sunset Drive. Sessions will begin at 12:55 p.m. and conclude at 1:50 p.m.
